‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6 Spoilers: New S6 Episodes will be 'Big, Loud and Scary'

Talking about the upcoming season of the horror drama television series 'The Walking Dead,' showrunner Scott M. Gimple said that Season 6 will be "big, loud and scary."

In Season 5 Episode 16 of 'The Walking Dead,' which was aired last Sunday night, fans saw two characters being killed, while a new threat to Alexandria was introduced, reports Christian Today.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly before the Season 5 finale of the AMC series, executive producer Gale Anne Hurd dropped some hints regarding what fans can expect when 'The Walking Dead' returns for its sixth season in the fall.

Although Hurd did not reveal any plot details for Season 6, she confirmed that the writers of 'The Walking Dead' have already "pitched out eight episodes." In case the upcoming series comprises 16 episodes - typical of 'The Walking Dead,' it means that the writers have already thought of where the characters will be heading to during the midseason finale, slated for December.

Hurd teased, "It is going to be quite the roller-coaster." However, this is not the meatiest part of Hurd's scoop for 'The Walking Dead' Season 6. She added that Tom Luce, the line producer of the show, has been "pulling out his hair" over the episode pitches.

So how would Luce's anxiety be of any concern for the fans? Generally, the job of a line producer is to administer the budget of the show. Hence, it suggests that either a number of new characters will be introduced to the show, adding expenses as more people will be on payroll, or it may suggest that fans should expect further over the top action and special effects in the upcoming season of 'The Walking Dead.'
