'The Walking Dead' Season 6 Spoilers: New Character, 'Paul Monroe' Expected To Join Besides Negan?
The mid-season premiere of AMC's "The Walking Dead" is only a couple of days away and to add on a little bit more buzz, the show has revealed new photos featuring Daryl, Sasha and Abraham.
We see in the pictures that Daryl Dixon, played by Norman Reedus, is once again accompanied by Abraham Ford, played by Michael Cudlitz and Sasha Williams, played by Sonequa Martin-Green after they were separated by an attack of other survivors.
According to Christian Post, the people who tried to take everything from the three, all work for Negan. As the following episodes set up the appearance of the show's next big bad, people are already expecting that the character will be played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
We have reported it here before and we'll report it again for the people who still don't know - Negan was the one who killed Glenn in the comics. Glenn is played by Steven Yeun in the series. Will we see him exit the show or will the series version of the story change the fate of Glenn?
According to Entertainment Weekly, there's going to be another new character besides Negan in the series. The new character's name is "Paul Monroe," also known as "Jesus."
Executive Producer, Robert Kirkman said that Jesus is a "fun character to write in the comics."
"At this point in the life of the series, my thought is, the apocalypse has been going on for so long, the people you encounter in your day-to-day life have to be extremely skilled. And they've been surviving for a reason, whether they were at a place like Alexandria that's very safe, or they're a great leader of their group and somewhat sadistic but in control of their group like Negan, or someone who's an absolute, complete bada** like Jesus," Kirkman said.
Don't miss the return of "The Walking Dead" season 6 this Valentine's Day on AMC.
