‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6 Spoilers: Actor Hints at Tension between Rick and Morgan

While fans of 'The Walking Dead' will need to wait till October to know what the Season 6 of the horror drama television series on AMC has in store for them, British actor Andrew Lincoln, who portrays the character of Rick Grimes on the show, said that the wait will be worth it.

According to Latin Post, in a recent interview with Collider at the 41st Annual Saturn Awards, Lincoln said, "I think the writing and the story is getting stronger and stronger, I'm thrilled."

When asked to shed light on his character as well as Morgan Jones (Lennie James), the 41-year-old actor said, "There will be tension between those two characters, definitely." Although the actor seemed to express some physical fatigue regarding playing his role, he seemed to have a lot of confidence in the actual character, saying that: "One of the great challenges of playing him is that he's one of these people that keeps pushing himself forward and finding new resolve."

In the meantime, 'Fear the Walking Dead,' the spin-off television series that airs in August, is gradually offering more hints regarding what a truly scary series it may prove to be.

A recently released teaser of 'Fear the Walking Dead' depicts the show's couple, Madison (Kim Dickens) and Travis (Cliff Curtis), drive along and notice some missing persons posters before meeting a fellow who is either among the walking dead or (in the jargon of AA meetings) one of the walking wounded.

While the posters of the missing persons reminds one of '28 Days Later,' the 2002 flick that brought the wandering corpse sort back to life, the man walking slowly in the cemetery certainly has an indirect reference to the father of all zombie movies 'Night of the Living Dead,' the horror film released in the late 60s and begins with a brother and sister visiting a graveyard and meeting a walking corpse just about to pounce.

Meanwhile, some people have expressed concern that 'Fear the Walking Dead,' which takes place before the most important zombie outbreak and focuses on the everyday struggles of a middle age couple trying to bring their family together in Los Angeles, may possibly not have the sheer terror factor that 'The Walking Dead' fans been craving.

In fact, even show creator Robert Kirkman has not tried to lessen any of those fears with his comments regarding his new show's domestic centered drama. Talking to Vulture, Kirkman said, "All the intricacies and struggles that come from that family dynamic, and setting it against the fall of civilization in the face of the zombie apocalypse, just makes things that much more interesting."
