With "The Walking Dead" season 6 nearing its finale, it has been revealed that Rick and his friends are going to encounter Negan.

"The Walking Dead" season 6 episode 16 is entitled "Last Day on Earth." According to Melty, The Spoiling Dead Fans revealed that Rick and his friends are set to end up in the hands of Negan, with the group being captured after a failed attempt to bring Maggie to the Hilltop Colony.

According to TV Maze, "Last Day on Earth" sees Eugene being captured by Saviors' Dwight. Also, Negan is set to teach Rick and his friends a "brutal lesson," which shows that the group finally has something to fear.

Episode 16 is also set to see Rick trying to negotiate with some of the Saviors following the fall of the RV as victim to their road obstruction; however, it is not bound to happen, according to the publication. The publication added that the Alexandrians will be led on an unknown place where Negan is waiting for them. Also, Michonne and Daryl are taken hostage.

In the comic book storyline, Negan taught Rick a lesson by killing one of the group's members, such as Glenn who suffers the madness of Negan's baseball bat that is covered barbed wire. According to Inquisitr, Glenn or Daryl could die in the season finale; however, the character who ends up dying in the series and whether the ending is faithful to the comics is yet to be revealed.

Meanwhile, in "The Walking Dead" episode 15, "East," Carol managed to live from Savior brutal attacks. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Carol was slashed up with the wound at her side and she was helped by Morgan, who found her with the help of her blood and rosary near a dead walker.

"The Walking Dead" season 6 episode 16, "Last Day on Earth," is set to air on Apr. 3. Meanwhile, episode 15, "East," airs on Mar. 27.
