'The Walking Dead' Season 6 New Cast Rumors: Two New Survivors, Reedus Denies Daryl Death Rumors

Even before the shooting for 'The Walking Dead' Season 6 commences on May 6, fans of the post-apocalyptic television drama series on AMC Network are eager to know what is in store for them in the upcoming season.

Christian Today reports that very recently, some fans of the horror television drama were concerned about the fate of one of their most favorite characters. Several rumors hinted that Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) may be killed off when 'The Walking Dead' returns for its sixth season. It is believed that these reports originated from the news that Reedus was selling his home in Atlanta, Georgia. According to the rumors, since Reedus is aware that his character will not remain in the show for long, he decided to sell his home, situated close to the shooting location of the series.

Nevertheless, Reedus has already denied such rumors. He told The Wrap that he does not even own the house. This may be comforting news for 'The Walking Dead' fans, who now think that the actor or for that matter Daryl will not go anywhere in the next season of the show.

In the meantime, a recent report in E! News claimed that two new characters will be introduced in 'The Walking Dead' Season 6. The report stated that a sarcastic and cynical new man named Delvin will be introduced as a recurring character, who is apparently not angry, but believes that most people can become very dull at times. The other character is named Tucker, who works hard and gives importance to fairness.

These additions may be surprising to the die-hard fans of 'The Walking Dead,' particularly because there is no mention of these characters in Robert Kirkman's comic books with the same title, which forms the basis of the TV show.

As of now, AMC is yet to announce the names of the actors who will be portraying Delvin and Tucker. Moreover, it is also not known as to these two will encounter the group of Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), who were seen safely tucked behind the walls of the Alexandria Safe Zone when the fifth season of the show ended.

On that note, 'The Walking Dead' Season 6 is set to premiere later this year.
