Ansel Elgort is rumored to be joining the cast of AMC's hit zombie drama 'The Walking Dead,' for its Season 5. 'The Fault In Our Stars' and 'Divergent' actor is said to be playing a love interest for character Beth Greene played by Emily Kinney.

News of his recruitment by production broke after a Twitter post made mention of the matter. The tweet, posted by @TheWalkingNews attached a photo of the actor with a caption. The post read, "@AnselElgort of TFIOS will be playing Andrew in Season 5 of #TheWalkingDead who could have a 'thing' with Beth!"

Since Beth is still lost and no where to be found on the show, it signals that she will indeed return. Also, Andrew seems to be the name of the character that Ansel Elgort will be playing in the series. Some speculate that the two will meet in Terminus to which sparks ther love interest for each other.

While AMC themselves have not confirmed any of these rumors, Emily Kinney had something to say about all of this. She herself has said that Beth Greene will be returning to the show. When that happens, the story will reveal what has happened to her since she first went missing Season 4 episode 13.

Beth was kidnapped in an automobile and never appeared in a scene since then. However, recent spoilers show that the car may have been spotted on the set.
