‘The Walking Dead’ Season 5 Cast News: Actor Tyler James Williams Shares ‘Star Wars’ Audition Story, Celebrity Crush, & More
Tyler James Williams who plays Noah in the hit zombie drama 'The Walking Dead' revealed that he is a huge fan of the 'Game of Thrones' series while sharing his experience at the auditions for the 'Star Wars: Episode VII' film, Entertainment Weekly reported.
Williams was invited to play EW's Pop Culture Personality Test in order to uncover some of his secrets, and one secret that was revealed was his experience at trying out for the upcoming 'Star Wars' film. The actor also revealed his love for the Lannisters, his TV crush, and the film that served as his inspiration to be an actor.
During the interview, Williams revealed that he auditioned for 'Star Wars: Episode VII' and insisted on being in the film even as a minor character.
According to the actor, he even told the film crew that he could just "stand in the back," adding that he could be a part of the 'Star Wars' movie and the film viewers wouldn't even know, according to Travelers Today.
Williams also shared that he even attempted to buy all the 'Star Wars' collectibles, but he wasn't able to continue when the memorabilia became too pricey.
When it comes to his TV crush, Williams revealed that he is likely to go for 'The Scandal' star Olivia Pope because he has "a thing" for women in power.
In addition, 'The Walking Dead' actor said he was a self-identified with the Lannister clan from HBO's 'Game of Thrones' series.
"I'm one of those types of guys. Especially with my family, such a, close-knit type of family where it's like, you know, we can be friends, we can be cool but you're not one of us. We also kill people. We also get people murdered," he said.
When asked about the movie that sparked the fire in him to be an actor, Williams told EW that it was 'Men in Black', and actor Will Smith, which made him want to go into acting when he was four years old.
