'The Voice' Season 8 Live Finale – Part 1 Spoilers: Final Four Revealed, Team Christina's India Carney Eliminated
As the popular singing competition show, 'The Voice' draws near its conclusion, and its winner, fans of the series are looking to find out what they can expect in the finale episode. With the final four finalists announced, and with their recently stunning performances, it's pretty safe to say viewers are going to witness a spectacular conclusion to the season.
On that note, as the performances were so polished and well done, Carson Daly stuck to his pattern of asking the contestants about their experience on the show. Beginning with Team Blake's Meghan Linsey, who was asked what she learned about herself throughout the competition, she said, "For me, I've learned how strong I am and what I'm capable of,"
Next up on the plate for the final episode, is Team Pharrell's Sawyer Fredricks, who showcased one of his best performances, showing a range and malleability that had not yet been seen with him. Evidently, all the hard work he and Pharrell have been putting in has paid off as he certainly stands apart from the rest with his distinct voice.
The last artist who was announced as passing through to the next round of 'The Voice' Season 8 was none other than Joshua Davis from Team Adam Levine. However, with only three finalists named, fans knew that one more singer was going to push through to the finale.
Team Christina Aguilera's India Carney and Team Pharrell's Koryn Hawthorne were the last two in the running for the spot on Tuesday's live episode. That meant that they would have to perform another song for the instant Twitter save, before one of them would be chosen for the finals.
While Hawthorne sang Beyonce's "If I Were a Boy," Carney went ahead with Kelly Clarkson's "Dark Side."
In the end only one contestant was going to go on through to the next round, and that was none other than Team Pharrell's Koryn Hawthorne.
Taking a recent statement from the latest elimination from the show, Carney herself said, "I'm going to be incredibly proud of whoever wins because they deserve it," she told Us Magazine after Monday night's performance, "I have worked an enormous amount to be here and to be living my dream like this and I'm very happy and honored to see where I've come."
