'The Voice' Season 11 Episode 6 News: Contestants Performance Continues?
The hopefuls continue to perform for their coaches in "The Voice" season 11 episode 6, along with the newly recruited team mentors.
According to Celebdirty Laundry, Adam Levine recruited American rock vocalist Sammy Hagar, who is known for his songs "There's Only One Way to Rock," "I Can't Drive," and "Why Can't This Be Love." Alicia Keys sought the help of song write Charlie Puth, who is famous for his songs "Marvin Gaye," "One Call Away," and "We Don't Talk Anymore."
Blake Shelton recruited American singer, songwriter, actress, and film producer Bette Midler, who is known for her songs "From a Distance," "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy," and "Wind Beneath My Wings." Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus had American rock artist Joan Jett as her co-mentor. Jett is known for her songs, which include "Bad Reputation," "Do You Wanna Touch Me?," and "I Hate Myself For Loving You."
As per the Entertainment Weekly, Shannon and Whitney had a grand showcase, which included their looks, style, charm, character, and talent. It is added that the judges were amazed by their immaculate harmony in their rendition of Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide," along with a touch of country to earn point from Team Blake. Keys secured the duo to her team, telling them that it was like they represented the future and they were a beautiful example of the world she wanted to create.
Meanwhile, Levine recruited 25-year-old Johnny Rez, who sang Goo Goo Dolls' "Iris." The artist fell into drugs and criminal acts, but managed to cleanse himself through music with his guitar. With Levine, it is assumed that the Maroon 5 cover artist will be able to improve himself, including his falsetto.
