'The Voice' Season 11 Episode 16 News & Update: Twenty Artists Narrowed Down To 12 Contestants

On the November 7 episode of "The Voice," the top 20 performed and got narrowed down to 12 contestants in one live episode.

Each individual artist performed and America voted in real-time for their favorites via Twitter and the mobile app of the show. By the end of the episode, the two most popular artists from each team automatically moved on to the next round of the competition, and then each coach picked one of their remaining three singers to complete their teams. The process left eight singers going home.

The team of Alicia Keys was the first to perform, where Christian Cuevas gave a powerful performance of "Yesterday," Kylie sang her rendition of "I Can't Get No Satisfaction," We McDonald performed "Home," Josh Halverson sang "Cupid" and Sa'Rayah performed "I'd Rather Go Blind."

Next to hit the stage were the artists of Blake Shelton, Dana Harper, Austin Allsup, Jason Warrior, Sundance Head and Courtney Harrell, who performed "Maneater," "Jailhouse Rock," "One Dance," "Blue Ain't Your Color" and "It Must Have Been Love," respectively.

Miley Cyrus' team was up next, with Sophia Urista being the first to sing "Do You Think I'm Sexy." She was followed by Darby Walkrer's performance of "Those Were the Days," Aaron Gibson's "Round Here," Belle Jewel's "Runaway" and Ali Caldwell's "Times Have Changed."

The last to perform was Adam Levine's Team. His first artist to perform was Brendan Fletcher, who gave his rendition of "To Love Somebody." Following him was Simone Gundy who performed "Diamonds," and Josh Gallagher, who sand "Colder Weather." Riley Elmore crooned "Luck Be A Lady" and Billy Gilman belted out "Crying."

Towards the end of the show, the top 12 were revealed. The first two names in each team got the most number of votes, while the third names were picked by their respective coaches.

Team Alicia: We McDonald, Christian Cuevas, Sa'Rayah

Team Blake: Sundance Head, Austin Allsup, Courtney Harrell

Team Miley: Aaron Gibson, Ali Caldwell, Darby Walker

Team Adam: Billy Gilman, Josh Gallagher, Brendan Fletcher
