'The Voice' Season 10 Latest News: Blake Shelton’s Team Confirmed, Coaches Battle Over Pharrell’s Emily Keener
In line with the coach's teams in "The Voice" season 10, Blake Shelton's team has been revealed. Also, a contestant from Ohio rocked the stage and left the coaches battling over her.
According to Buddy TV, Shelton's team in "The Voice" season 10 includes Paxton Ingram, Mary Sarah, Adam Wakefield, and Angie Keilhauer.
Raised in Miami, Ingram auditioned to the show with his rendition of Robin's "Dancing On My Own." Sarah comes from Richmond and her audition piece was Connie Francis' "Where the Boys Are." Wakefield is from Hanover and Shelton chose him after he sang George Jones' song "Tennessee Whiskey." Then, Keilhauer, who comes from Marietta, joins Shelton's group with her version of Dierks Bentley's "I Hold On."
In other news, there had been a commotion among the "The Voice" coaches when season 10 contestant Emily Keener entered the stage, as per Bustle. According to the publication, the 16-year-old contestant took the "The Voice" stage by storm during the season 10 Blind Auditions, but deserved to earn one of the four chair turns with her rendition of Elton John's "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road."
Coming from Ohio, Keener had been singing as long as she could recall and had been writing songs since she had been just 12, according to The Hollywood Life. As per the publication, she managed to impress all the coaches before she belted out the huge notes in her piece. After the coach's debate, the contestant chose to be part of Team Pharrell.
Once the teams are complete, the contestants are set to engage in the Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs, and Live Shows, with one of them to be hailed as the 10th "The Voice" champion.
