'The Voice' 2016 Season 10 Recap, News: Adam Levine and Pharrell’s Singing Teams Perform

Adam Levine and Pharrell's singing teams had their time to shine in "The Voice" season 10.

Five singers from Levine and Pharrell's teams got the spotlight on "The Voice" Apr. 12 episode, following the stunning performances made by Blake Shelton and Christina Aguilera's team, according to Hollywood Life. As per the publication, one artist from each group were give another chance to prove themselves by giving their performance in the Live Playoffs second round.

Pharrell chose Aguilera's team member Daniel Passino to have the second chance in the recent "The Voice" season 10 episode. As fans can recall, Passino was asked to go home in the Knockout Round versus frontrunner Alisan Porter. Aguilera's representative sang Bruno Mars' "When I Was Your Man," in which he hit some high notes to prove that he deserves to be part of the competition.

Passino was followed by another member of Pharrell's team, the 17-year-old Emily Keener. The episode revealed that it was Keener's first piano performance, which accompanied her rendition of Paul Simon's "Still Crazy After All This Years." It is assumed that audience from the older generations were surprised by Keener's performance, since what she sang was an older music for her age.

Pharrell's Moushumisang her iteration of Justin Bieber's "Love Yourself," adding that she wanted to take the chance to show people what she was capable of doing as an artist when it comes to music arrangement.

The fourth contestant from Pharrell's team was Lacy Mandigo, who brought her incarnation of the classing song "Love Is A Battlefield." As per the publication, Mandigo started with Aguilera and was acquired with Shelton in the Battles. She landed on Pharrell's team during the knockouts.

Meanwhile, Adam's team had Owen Danoff, who developed a growing bond with the former from the start, and he sang his version of "Hero." Another artist from Adam's group was Shalyah Fearing, who came from Pharrell's team during the knockouts. While she is only 16, Fearing was not afraid to hit high notes in Beyonce's "Listen."

Levine also chose Nate Butler for a second chance, since it was not logical that he had left in the first place. The artist reportedly eliminated himself in the Knockouts.

According to TV Line, the second performance night might not have been the worst live episode in "The Voice's" history, but it might have been the easiest to forget.

In the Apr. 13 episode of "The Voice," the teams are set to be cut in half, with two singers from each group going to be voted through by the United States and each coach picking a third artist to represent them in the Top 12.
