'The Voice' 2016 Season 10 Battle Rounds Recap: 12 Contestants Sing Off; Who Went Home?
The competition just got more intense during "The Voice" season 10 as twelve more contestants were pitted against each other during the battle round. Read on for the recap.
Team Blake's Jared Harder and Adam Wakefield started the ball rolling for The Battles Week 2 of "The Voice" season 10 as they gave their own rendition of "Can't You See." In the end, Blake Shelton picked Wakefield.
Emily Keener and Jonathan Back of Team Pharrell performed "Explosions," but Keener impressed the judge more. Meanwhile, Christina Aguilera chose Daniel Passino over Kristen Marie after the two contestants sang Adele's "Turning Tables."
The recap for "The Voice" season 10 from Yibada also said that Pharell picked Moushumi over Jonathan Hutcherson during the battle round after performing "Photograph" by Ed Sheeran.
Adam Levine, meanwhile, was more impressed by Katherine Ho's performance of "Lovefool" and decided to send Lily Green home.
"Angie Keilhauer and Teresa Guidry from Team Blake performed 'Backseat of Greyhound Bus' by Sara Evans. Angie Keilhauer won the battles and Teresa Guidry was sent home," the article added.
Team Pharell's Abby Celso won the battles after singing Maroon 5's "Sugar" and Brian Nhira was defeated but did not go home as he was stolen by Adam Levine after a brief competition with Christina Aguilera.
Caroline Burns and Mike Schiavo sang "Like I'm Gonna Lose You" but Adam Levine sent the latter packing.
Meanwhile, Alisan Porter-who was predicted by the judges to win "The Voice" season 10 during the blind auditions-still managed to sneak in during the last battle with Lacy Mandigo. But everybody went home happy since Blake Shelton used his steal to add Mandigo to his team.
The Los Angeles Times said in its "The Voice" season 10 recap that only Christina Aguilera is now the only judge with the remaining steal following the battle rounds, so it would be interesting who among the remaining contestants she will use it on.
