'The Voice' 2016 Top 10 Recap, Results: Daniel Passino Went Home, But Nick Hagelin Is Saved?
Among the top 10 contestants, Daniel Passino has been sent home while America saved Nick Hagelin in "The Voice" 2016.
Passino and Hagelin were the bottom two performers in the latest episode of "The Voice." Passino delivered his rendition of Bruno Mars' "Uptown Funk" while Hagelin, who was the first to perform, sang his version of Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud."
As Hollywood Life reports, Hagelin "completely" captivated the crowd and had them cheering on their feet, a major factor why he was saved and the latter was sent home.
TV Line does not hold back on shredding Passino's performance, reporting that he made an effort to get down on one of the grooviest radio hits of the last ten years, which led him to be as "wrong-minded" as if Bernie Sanders would have picked Carly Fiorina as his running mate, or as "insane" as Christina Milian being reinstated in the Sprint Skybox.
In chronological order, Alisan Porter, Adam Wakefield, Shaylah Fearing, Hannah Huston, Mary Sarah, Bryan Bautista, Laith Al-Saadi, Paxton Ingram, and Nick Hagelin stand as the top nine contestants for "The Voice" 2016, after Passino's elimination, according to Hollywood Life.
With the remaining top nine, it is noted that Pharrell only has Huston left while Adam has Fearing and Al-Saadi. Meanwhile, Christina and Blake still have three finalists each, with Porter, Bautista, and Hagelin under the former and Wakefield, Sarah, and Ingram under the latter.
Another round of performances and elimination is set to take place next week on "The Voice" 2016.
