Adam Levine and Miley Cyrus appear to be in conflict on "The Voice" 2016. Also, the latter may reportedly take over coach Blake Shelton as Levine's arch rival.

A source told US Magazine that Cyrus totally butted heads with Levine when she appeared as key adviser in "The Voice" season 10. According to the website, the two were too similar and they both had short attention spans.

It has been added that they found each other annoying, with Levine getting agitated when Cyrus would interrupt him. On the other hand, the "The Climb" singer had enjoyed getting under the skin of the "Moves Like Jagger" singer.

Though it seems that Cyrus and Levine don't get along with each other on "The Voice," Cyrus is reportedly getting along extremely well with Shelton on the singing show.

Cyrus is joined by "If Ain't Got You"-singer Alicia Keys as coach in "The Voice." Both were hired as coaches to take over after "Come Get It Bae" singer Pharrell Williams and "Lady Marmalade" singer Christina Aguilera from season 10.

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, the "The Climb"-singer was chosen as one of the "The Voice" coaches to lure the juvenile market. Many thought that Cyrus would have minimal challenges getting along with Levine; however, the contrary happened, with the two not on good terms even behind the scenes. In fact, both artists allegedly cannot stand being around each other, the website reports.

"The Voice" airs every Monday and Tuesday on NBC.
