"The Voice" has its season 9 winner! It was a special night; a spectacular finale packed with amazing performances and crowd-electrifying guest performers.
The final four contestants were Jordan Smith from Team Adam, Jeffrey Austin from Team Gwen, and Barrett Baber and Emily Ann Roberts from Team Blake.
Unfortunately for Pharrell Williams, he did not have any contestants left in the competition during the finals. His last singer, Madi Davis, got eliminated in Week Five. Just a week short of making it into the final four.
Before the winner of the season 9 of "The Voice" was announced, the show invited back some of the fan favorites of the season. The top 24 did a group performance of the song "Lean On."
The winner is, Jordan Smith from Team Adam. Emily Ann Roberts came in second, Barrett Baber was third and Jeffrey Austin finished fourth.
Coldplay helped the season finish with a huge bang by performing their smashing new single, "Adventure of a Lifetime."
As if Coldplay wasn't enough to finish it off, the night and as well as the season 9 was capped with the final performance by Justin Bieber. The pop star performed his new hit single "Sorry." He also had some selfies with the fans at the venue.
It was a successful season. The fans were definitely satisfied with that one. They surely can't wait for the next season to start.
Gwen Stefani said that she won't be around next season. Who will be her replacement? Will Pharrell be back? Those chairs that they've sat on have been changing judges for a couple of seasons now. I guess we'll find the answers soon as "The Voice" returns for the season 10.
