'The Vampire Diaries' Season 7 Spoilers, News: New Vampire Witches Plague Mystic Falls

The seventh season of The Vampire Diaries will premiere soon and another teaser has just been released that shows new vampire witches descending on the already beleaguered town of Mystic Falls.

In the past few months fans have been teased by clips of the new season, especially the premiere episode, titled Day One of Twenty-Two Thousand, Give or Take, Inquisitr says.

Spoiler TV released some photos on Thursday that reveal that Caroline will encounter new vampire witches, which causes her to fall under a spell.

Other images reveal creepy glimpses of Season 7's new troublemakers. The new teaser, released Friday, points at the trouble to come.

The finale of season 6 left the storyline at Lily and her family's troubled arrival at Mystic Falls, which is practically in ruins while Damon looks over it.

The opening of season 7 focuses on Stefan and Damon making a deal with their mother and her clan in which they will get Mystic Falls if they help drive the humans out of town, as revealed in the trailer.

Viewers see from the teaser that Lily will train her children to blend in with humans. The children are not impressed, according to Christian Today.

They also see Caroline struggling with problems that lead her to believe that leaving the town in the hands of the witches is not a good idea.

A clip of Stefan telling Damon it's too late to turn back on the deal also points at disaster brewing on the horizon.

Bonnie, who is revealed to have been alive all this time, will also encounter problems in season 7.

With her best friend asleep, she experience's survivor's remorse which she fights because she doesn't feel she deserves to be punished for surviving.

She also vows to eliminate the evil forces that are taking over Mystic Falls, and she will join Damon and Alaric in their grief over their personal losses.

Season 7 of The Vampire Diaries will air on The CW on Oct. 8.
