Damon continues to save Stefan while the fake Stefan is set to absorb his dark side in "The Vampire Diaries" season 7 episode 18.

"The Vampire Diaries" season 7 episode 18 is entitled "One Way or Another," and according to Spoilers Guide, Damon is set to go to Memphis with Alaric, as he is eager to seize an escaped vampire named Ambrose. As per the publication, Damon believes that Ambrose may be the key to bring back his brother Stefan safely.

Alaric seems to be uncooperative to Damon's wishes in episode 18. It is revealed that the former is hesitant on leaving the vampire hunting methods he used to know and he used to do. Interestingly, Alaric also reveals facts about the previous three years in his life without Damon.

Bonnie, who is in a psych ward, meets a young woman named Virginia. The latter is set to feed her vital details on the reason why The Armory may be pursuing her. Also, Enzo is set to handle things on his own, after having a stunning discovery from Rayna.

According to Design & Trend, the fake Stefan is set to embody his evil nature in episode 18. In the promo trailer, he taunts Damon that he will being back the body of the real Stefan as soon as possible.

Previously in "The Vampire Diaries" season 7 episode 17, which is entitled "I Went to the Woods," Stefan found himself fighting for his life. He woke only to see himself struggling in a life or death situation, which forced him to depend on his natural way of thinking.

Episode 17 also saw Stefan traversing on a survival journey, along with a task of facing a potentially perpetual and irreversible damage Damon had done to their dynamics.

"The Vampire Diaries" season 7 episode 18, "One Way or Another," is set to air on April 15.
