And literally a group of my - my cast - my brothers and sisters, everyone had my back." It was my favorite professional experience ever."

Meanwhile, talking to The Hollywood Reporter, executive producer Julie Plec disclosed that fans will see a "surprisingly delightful and on the verge of crazy Caroline" when the show returns next month. Plec, however, did not reveal anything regarding the plot for the remaining season of the show. She simply remarked that "there's so much that's going to unfold." In the end, Plec, who was trying to avoid disclosing too much about the upcoming episodes of 'The Vampire Diaries' Season 6, dropped some key bombshells.

The executive producer of the show teased, "With Bonnie's return, with Caroline switching off her humanity, with the mother reveal, it really does launch us into the next and final chapter of the season, which is leading us in some very clear directions."

Many fans are wondering what is in store for them in the upcoming episodes of 'The Vampire Diaries' Season 6, which is drawing closer to an end.

Quenching the fans thirst to know more about the happenings in the upcoming episodes of Season 6, Plec said, "A mother with a secret; a heroine with no humanity; a leading man who feels guilt that the girl he's learned he cares for [and] feels he's had a hand in ruining her; the return of a best friend who has been gone forever," adding, "You've got a couple getting married."
