'The Transporter Refueled' New Trailer News: Ed Skrein In Deep Water Trying to Save His Father

A new trailer for the latest installment in the Transporter movie series has been released. Unlike the previous films, in which Jason Statham was the driver, The Transporter Refueled stars Ed Skrein as Frank Martin, who was once a special ops mercenary.

Martin takes on a new mission when he is hired by Anna, played by Loan Chabanol.

Anna and her sidekicks seduce Martin into organizing an epic bank heist.

The job gets Martin into hot water though, as he discovers quickly that he has been tricked by Anna and her team.

They kidnap his father, played by Ray Stevenson, in order to convince him to take down a group of Russian human traffickers. Martin will stop at nothing to get his father to safety.

This Transporter film is full of action sequences and car chases, just like those before it. The Transporter Refueled was originally scheduled for release in North America on March 6th, however this release date was pushed back to June 19th.

The movie is now due to come out in September 4th in theaters across the United States. It will feature many other actors of course, including Radivoje Bukvic, Gabrielle Wright and Anatole Taubman.

The French-Chinese action thriller is being directed by Camille Delamarre and written by Bill Collage and Adam Cooper.

It is the fourth film in the franchise, and will serve as a prequel to the series.

The film began production on August 4th, 2014. It will also star Gabriella Wright, Ray Stevenson, Tatjana Pajkovic, Wenxia Yu and Lenn Kudrjawizki.

The screenplay for the film was written by Bill Collage and Adam Cooper, and the film is produced by Canal+ among other companies.
