The Showers' Regina Showers-Gordon Together With Matt Ables Launch Faith Star Radio, Good Soul TV
Recording artist Regina Showers-Gordon of family gospel group The Showers and President of A&P Records has together with media strategist Matt Ables launched the new radio station Faith Star Radio, and are also launching Good Soul TV later in September.
In a press statement, Ables talks about what sets the new initiatives apart from existing outlets, "In our climate and times we believe music that inspires and is competitive will unite people from all different backgrounds. Music will be the leader and I believe worshippers are called to lead so with the music of no color lines that glorifies God and is inspirational is what you will hear on Faith Star Radio."
Faith Star Radio, where Showers-Gordon says music is the star, is a faith-based, licensed radio station streaming live 24/7 at www.faithstarradio.com. The radio station will also host Faith Star's industry veterans weekly shows, and Faith Star Next, an artist platform where the audience will vote for the next Faith Star.
The radio station explains, "God created us to be instruments with the ability to sing and make music. Music is an important part of worship and praise to God, so, it only seems fitting that we bring you a station that chooses the 'Music to Be the Star.' Faith Star Radio is about rejoicing in the sound. Join us through our collection of sound and voices as we 'Tell the World the Good News.'"
You can already tune in to Faith Star Radio via their website, and they have also launched an app for Android users in the Google Play Store. An iOS app for iPhone and iPad users is coming soon to the Apple App Store.
Good Soul TV will be developing, producing and distributing quality content. First on the list is a weekly news magazine show covering inspirational entertainment called "Faith Star TV" hosted by Judah Swilley and Kim Ford.
Anchoring that show is a six-part series called "Q Parker presents Understanding the Sexes," a divided panel show with a moderator and live audience. Faith Star TV and Good Soul TV will launch in September this year on the AIB Network in Atlanta, Ga.
