'The Shannara Chronicles' Recap: Wil Finds Out How To Use The Stones As They Encounter 'Fury'
In the pilot episode of "The Shannara Chronicles," we saw that Wil and Amberle are in a tough situation after encountering a winged demon. The pilot episode ended with a cliff hanger as the demon is about to attack the two.
However, Allanon will be able to decapitate the demon by slicing his arm with his magic sword. According to Blastr, after realizing that the other Chosen ones are dead, Amberle runs away while Wil runs after her.
Allanon got seriously injured in the fight. As he lose a lot of blood, he requests Wil and Amberle to take him to his druid cave digs. The two then went on a quest to get some type of mud that could heal the wounds of Allanon. While on the mission, Amberle finds out that Wil is part of the Shannara bloodline.
Wil dove into the river to get the mud that they are searching for. Amberle was no where to be seen when he came back up. Eretria then appears to the scene, having Amberle as a hostage; with a knife on her throat. Eretria needed to bring the two to her father so they can use the elf stones and also so that Eretria can be free.
When they reached Eretria's father, Cepholo, he immediately tried to trick Wil into revealing how to use the elf stones. Suddenly, Amberle was able to reverse the hold that she was in and threats Cepholo to let them go or else she'll kill his daughter. Cepholo didn't seemed to care.
Another winged demon appears and Wil uses the stones to torch the demon, burnig his hand in exchange of the attack. Allanon miraculously came to rescue the two. After bringing Wil to consciousness, the three main characters head back to their main journey.
On their way back to Arborlon, they encountered an elf locked inside a barn. Amberle freed that elf who happened to have a power to see someone's future once he touches them. He touched Amberle and sees that she'll die in the near future.
"The Shannara Chronicles" is based on the second book of Terry Brooks' long-running series, The Elfstones of Shannara. According to Buddy TV, it is a big move for MTV as they attempt to change TV series in such a big way.
