A confrontation between Bethenny Frankel and LuAnn de Lesseps took place in the most recent episode of "The Real Housewives of New York City" season 8.

Bethenny confronted LuAnn for being hypercritical and for making the other women feel that she is not worthy of their trust.

While at the vacation house of Dorinda Medley in the Berkshires, Bethenny was so infuriated that she started to scream at the countess and ask her how she wasn't being true with her life. As the Skinnygirl mogul reproached LuAnn for picking holes in people, Carole butted in to say that LuAnn had been very critical of her when she dated a younger man once.

Bethenny continued to confront LuAnn about her having flings with married men and for being a credit grabber by claiming that the Skinnygirl line was her idea.

In her attempt to save what was left of the holiday party, Dorinda had all the women sit down for dinner. However, there was no stopping Bethenny from firing back at the countess. She and Carole left the house the following morning.

Meanwhile in the city, LuAnn tried to patch things up with Carole and Bethenny at the holiday party threw by Ramona. While Bethenny appeared to be unaffected, Carole seemed to have appreciated the sincerity of Bethenny's apology.

On her blog, Bethenny said that the confrontation she had with LuAnn was insane but admitted that she was a hypocrite. However, she never denied the soft spot she had for the countess and the rest of the housewives.

In episode 11 titled "Invitation Interrupted," Sonja Morgan will change her partying ways. LuAnn will also announce that she is in love with Thomas D'Agostino.
