"The Originals" season 4 is still months away but speculations about what is in store for Klaus Mikaelson, Marcel Gerard and the rest of the characters are already rife. While some speculate that Klaus and Marcel will end their quarrel for good, some believe that Klaus will kill Marcel as soon as he wakes up from his coma.

 Previous reports confirmed that Klaus will come out of his coma next season. However, it remains to be seen when or how it will happen.

In his recent interview with Inquisitr, Joseph Morgan gave some hints as to what is coming to the series when it returns next year.

 Asked if Klaus will kill Marcel, he said, "I don't think so, unless it's necessary for his survival. The bond with Marcel is one of the show's foundations. That's why it was so hurtful to Klaus when his brother Elijah tore out Marcel's heart."

 While the showrunner revealed that Klaus may not kill Marcel, he said forgiveness is still far from happening. In fact, he revealed that there will be war when Klaus comes out of his coma.

 In a separate interview, executive producer Julie Plec shed some light on Marcel's choices and actions in the previous season.

 "The indignity of Klaus Mikaelson's situation the last five years is being held captive by his surrogate son and forced to be an advisor to a king that he does not recognize. Also, he knows Marcel is actually singularly responsible for the fact he's alive, because so many people have come to town in the last five years desperate to see him reduced to ash," she said.

 The CW has yet to confirm the exact premiere date of "The Originals" season 4.
