'The Originals' Season 3 Spoilers: Elijah & Klaus Will Trigger a Series of Events
Even as 'The Originals' is currently on a summer hiatus, the writers of this popular spin-off of 'The Vampire Diaries' on The CW, have already started work on developing the episodes of Season 3 of the television series.
According to Latin Post, recently, show creator Julie Plec announced on Twitter that she as well as the show's writers for 'The Originals' and 'The Vampire Diares' have started to work on the scripts of the two series for their upcoming seasons.
Plec tweeted, "Its back to school day in the @TVDWriters @OGsWriters rooms. And first day of freshman year for @ContainmentRoom!," She followed this with another tweet just on the following day to update fans about her long 18-hour day.
"Somehow my first day of school turned into an 18 hour day. #anditbegins," she wrote.
Meanwhile, 'The Originals' executive producer Michael Narducci teased that in Season 3, Davina may turn out to be the biggest nightmate for Mikaelson brothers, as she has been now appointed as regent of the witches of New Orleans.
In an interview with TVLine, Narducci said, "The spirits are going to have access to Davina."
He went on to elaborate, "They're going to lend her their power and communicate with her about what's best for the people and witches of New Orleans. That's who she'll be an advocate for, and the Mikaelsons, some would argue, are not the best things in the world for the witches. That's going to put them at odds, assuming there's no larger threat coming for which they might have to unite against. There are a lot of different ways this could play out."
In addition, series star Daniel Gillies revealed that the stressed relationship between Elijah and Klaus will set out a series of events when the vampire television drama returns for its third season to The CW next fall. During an interview with The Wrap's "Drinking with the Stars," Gillies said, "I think the rift between them is going to precipitate the chain of events."
The actor added, "It's not just a begrudging alliance now -- it's an alliance on its last thread of trust."
