In "The Originals" Season 3 Episode 9, the Mikaelsons are now reunited after Rebeka Mikaelson (Claire Holt) was rescued and brought back to New Orleans by he brother Elijah Mikaelson (Daniel Gillies). Unfortunately, the happy reunion is being spoiled by Rebekah's strange new behavior.

The teaser videos for "The Originals" Season 3 Episode 9 hints a conflict between the once major character Rebekah and the gorgeous but tough Hayley Marshall-Kenner (Phoebe Tonkin). Elijah settles the girls, urging Rebekah to contain herself.

Rebekah's behavior is being blamed upon a mark on her arm. Rebekah and Elijah's older sister Freya Mikaelson is keen on the dagger used on her, convinced that it was cursed.

Speaking of Freya, the Mikaelson's powerful family member is being preyed upon by The Strix, a powerful coven of old-age vampires.

On the other hand, first sired vampires Tristan (Oliver Ackland) and Lucien (Andrew Lees) are seeking a powerful witch who could help them ignite a cursed artifact that would lock the original family for eternity. The duo sought the help of  Divina (Danielle Campbell), who turned them down as she ceased to be regent to the witches of New Orleans. 

Meanwhile, Psychologist Cami (Lea Pipes) and Detective Will Kinney are being played upon by Lucien who is compelling Kinney to do him a favor. Niklaus (Joseph Morgan) is watching over them.

Finally, the mid-season finally ends with an exciting surprise as makes way to celebrate the holidays with Jackson Kenner (Nathan Parsons) and Baby Hope. 

"The Originals" Season 3 Episode 9 airs on Dec. 10 on 9/8c on the CW Network, reports International Business Times.
