Along with being a Stefan Salvatore-centric episode, the Strix is also set to have a new leader in "The Originals" season 3 episode 12.

As suggested by Carter Matt, a new leader is set to be born in "The Originals" season 3. This part of the story arc follows Elijah's (Daniel Gillies) attempt to take over The Strix, which leads to confrontations and death of some members of the group.

The publication added that Klaus (Joseph Morgan) is in pursuit of the sole weapon to take down the Mikaelsons. Since the said weapon lies in the wrong hands, the hybrid is set to compete with fate to retrieve it for him to prevent its negative repercussions to his siblings. With him in heading towards an unlikely foe, the resolutions to these issues are yet to be revealed.

In other news, it is assumed that "The Originals" season 3 is set to feature more of Stefan Salvatore, who is played by guest star Paul Wesley.

In another report from Carter Matt, the succeeding episodes of "The Originals" are set to see Klaus and Elijah finding themselves without use as they are trapped in an enchanted terrain. Then, Ayaa (Tracy Ifeachor) and The Strix's coven of witches push forward with a half-dangerous spell that could permanently terminate one of them.

The episode will also see Freya (Riley Voelkel) stand up and have the courage to retrieve her brothers and consider the help of Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), and Salvatore (Wesley), who happens to be Klaus' old friend. As per the synopsis, Salvatore's appearance, which is unpredicted, may be the answer leading to their survival. Also, Davina (Danielle Campbell) makes a move that puts her closer to a reunion with Kol.
