A press release issued by The CW states that fans can expect "looming deadlines and enticing propositions" in 'The Originals' Season 2 episode 20 titled 'City Beneath the Sea,' which will air on Monday, April 27.

Quoting the synopsis released by The CW, Kdramastars reports that in 'City Beneath The Sea' fans will see Dahlia (guest star Claudia Black) devising a clever way to get Klaus' (Joseph Morgan) attention. "She reveals some startling details about baby Hope and leaves him with an enticing proposition to consider," The CW synopsis says.

The synopsis further states, "Elsewhere, while Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Freya (guest star Riley Voelkel) find themselves with opposing views on how best to handle Dahlia's looming deadline, Rebekah (guest star Maisie Richardson-Sellers), Davina (Danielle Campbell), and Cami (Leah Pipes) work together to come up with their own strategy."

It goes on to read, "Meanwhile, following a tense stand-off between Elijah and Jackson (guest star Nathan Parsons) in the bayou, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) is left to make a difficult decision about her and Hope's future."

Eventually, fans will see Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood), who is keen to leave his witch past behind him, approaching Davina with an offer that leaves her enchanted.

While Leslie Libman directs 'The Originals' Season 2 episode 20, the episode has been written by Carina Adly MacKenzie & Charlie Charbonneau.

'City Beneath the Sea' airs Monday, April 27 at 8:00 pm EST on the CW.
