It looks like fans of The CW's "The Originals" will have to wait to find out more about Rebekah Mikaelson, played by Maisie Richardson-Sellers. The show is taking a spring break and won't return until April 6.

To tide fans over, a promo trailer was released for the next episode. Titled "Exquisite Corpse," the episode will show that Rebekah's body is now being inhabited by the evil witch Eva Sinclair.

Sinclair will be wreaking havoc on the vampire's town of New Orleans. Freya, played by Riley Voelkel, said in the promo, "If you kill her before you free Rebekah, Rebekah will be gone forever."

In the previous episode, Eva was revealed to be a witch that went rogue who kidnapped and killed children to inhale their powers, according to International Business Times.

Her siblings will not give up on her though. Her brother Elijah, played by Daniel Gillies, said in the promo, "I will not abandon my sister."

Eva looks like she will be catching up with an old enemy as well as she tracks down Vincent Griffith, played by Yusuf Gatewood. I'm the only who says how you die," she says.

According to IMDB, "The Originals" is about a family of vampires who claim New Orleans as their home. Now outside threats are claiming their territory, and it's up to the ever-growing family to take back what it rightfully theirs.

Other cast members include Joseph Morgan as Klaus Mikaelson, Phoebe Tonkin as Hayley Marshall, Leah Pipes as Camille O'Connell, Danielle Campbell as Davina Claire and Charles Michael Davis as Marcel Gerard.

"The Originals" returns with Episode 17 on Monday, April 6.
