It looks like Shannon and Paul brewed a romance in "The Night Shift" season 3 episode 9. Also, fans are set to see the latter and TC save the explosion victims in episode 10.

"The Night Shift" episode 9 is untitled "Unexpected." According to Carter Matt, the two characters sealed their lips together and hooked up in the back of the latter's car in the parking lot of the hospital.

It is assumed that it shapes up Shannon and Paul's future, as they need each other. As per the publication, the Shannon can be Paul's confidant about her past and present while Paul can be someone who can help Shannon's life become stable.

The episode also saw a bomb explosion outside the hospital, leaving Drew, Topher, and TC to stay and help those who were injured. They facilitated patient evacuation and transfers to the hospitals near them. In line with the accident, TC began thinking that he might know who was behind the explosion.

Meanwhile, "The Night Shift" episode 10 is entitled "Between a Rock and a Hard Place." According to Spoilers Guide, the episode sees Paul and TC help in an accident at a construction site. It is revealed that Paul is saving the victim when an observer falls into a gravel pit. TC goes into the pit and saves the fallen victim before being swallowed by the gravel.

The episode will also see a shaken Scott at the ER when he sees the teenage boy he paralyzed, now with new complications. Also, fans will see Jordan give his support, since the patient's case reveals complex emotions from the past. Moreover, the episode will see Drew extend is feelings for the cystic fibrosis patient Brianna.

"The Night Shift" season 3 episode 9, "Unexpected," aired on July 27 while season 10, "Between a Rock and a Hard Place," is set to air on Aug. 3.
