Scott and Jordan will be in danger in the upcoming episode of "The Night Shift" season 3.

In episode 12 titled "Emergent," Scott and Jordan will respond to a wildfire rescue mission outside San Antonio and will end up getting stuck. Syd and TC will also deal with their personal issues against each other as they get involved in a humanitarian crisis at the Syria-Turkey border.

As for Paul and Shannon, they will debate over the right treatment that they should give their patient. The plan to adopt Brianna may be thwarted as Drew deals with a major issue. Moreover, Topher will have a hard time looking for a potential hospital buyer.

In the promo trailer for the episode, Scott and Jordan go on a rescue mission to help out the victims of the wildfire. Unfortunately, they find themselves being stuck in the middle of the wildfire and they have to find a way to make it out alive.

In a recent interview with Collider, actor Scott Wolf shared his thoughts on the medical drama and what makes it different from other medical dramas.

"Hospital shows have been around forever for a good reason because it's a really fascinating world to explore. In this particular case, it's the 'night shift' at a trauma hospital so it's pretty intense. It is life and death at a hundred miles an hour all night long," he said.

The first part of the two-part "The Night Shift" season 3 finale airs on Aug. 24, while the second part airs on Aug. 31 on NBC.
