'The Night Shift' News: Jordan and Scott Face Danger in Wildfire Rescue Mission
Following a brief hiatus due to the Olympics, "The Night Shift" season 3 is set to return on NBC Wednesday night, and rumors have it that the show is going to throw some of its characters into a fire, both figuratively and literally.
Jordan and Scott will be in danger as they go on a wildfire rescue mission outside the city. While that sounds intense enough, many other intense events will happen before the season finally comes to a close, including a relationship drama, the hospital buyout, and an impending trouble for TC overseas.
In her recent interview with Catermatt, actress Jill Flint, who plays Dr. Jordan Alexander, spoke about some of the events that fans can look forward to in the remaining episodes of the season.
Asked what it was like shooting the wildfire scene, Flint said, "It was hot, hot, hot. We were shooting out in the desert in about 100-degree weather, wearing black jackets and scrubs. It was grueling! Somehow, with the great crew that we have, we did it, man. Even though it was one of the more difficult episodes, it was also bittersweet because it was almost over and we weren't going to be seeing something for a while and you never know what's going to happen with the show."
The actress also revealed that the last few episodes will not go any lighter.
"Oh no, we're totally going into the fire! We can't leave you with, like, warm fuzzies. We're going to end with a huge bang. You're going to be questioning the state of a lot of things, you're going to be questioning if a lot of people survive. It's a very intense finale. Survival is on the line across the board," he said.
"The Night Shift" airs every Wednesday night on NBC.
