‘The Newsroom’ Season 3 Episode 4 Spoilers: 'Contempt' Sneak Peek Promo Trailer [VIDEO]

'The Newsroom' Season 3's fourth episode entitled "Contempt" revolves around the consequences faced by news anchor and editor Will McAvoy's refusal to cooperate in the espionage case.

Will was requested to face the court and reveal the source of Internet news scanner Neal Sampat's stolen documents. The editor refused to cooperate with the authorities and thus, faced contempt charges.

In the previous episode, the FBI investigated Neal's espionage case at Atlantis Cable News. Hallie Shea was fired from ACN and received a job offer as a tabloid writer, however, her boyfriend Jim Harper did not support her new found career.

Meanwhile, the wealthy investor, Lucas Pruitt is interested in buying the network for $4 billion and discussed about restructuring the channel.

In the sneak peek clip, Lucas talks about changing the face of the network and making it number one. Hallie and Jim disagree about the new job at Carnivore, a tabloid website.

Economist Sloan Sabith and the rest of the news team try to find another buyer of ANC other than Lucas. Finally, the promo ends with Will on the stand refusing to testify about the espionage case.

The final season of the series has six episodes focused on story lines based on the central foundation of ACN and tackles issues about management transition, social media effects in news writing and career plights of the characters.

'The Newsroom' returns on Sunday at 9 pm EST on HBO.
