"The Mentalist' series finale is all set to release its new episodes, as the excitement among the fans is building up even more.

Episode 9, which is due to release on January 29 will have Jane devise a plan to save Abbott's career. Abbott, who is being threatened by his boss, will be seen getting closer to Jane.

However, it is unclear how Patrick Jane's will send Teresa Lisbon on a wild hunt in her pursuit to protect her relationship.

The episode, which is called "Copper bullet," was directed by Tom Snyder and written by Tom Donaghy.

For those that may not know, "The Mentalist' is a popular American TV series aired on CBS. The TV Show was created by Bruno Heller.

Rockmund Dunbar, who plays the character of Abbott, in an interview with Hollywood Reporter, said, "Everything sort of ties up into a nice bow, but it's really loose. It's one of those things where like, 'Wait a minute, The Mentalist could come back'. Of course, I doubt that it will, but there's definitely that glimmer of hope for some of the fans and for myself as well. There are always some twists and turns to keep people interested and wanting to come back and motivated to see the next episode, so always anticipate that. But the consistency of the storylines are there, and I think the fans are going to enjoy it."

Talking about the ring that Jane wears from his first marriage, executive producer Tom Szentgyorgyi said, "The ring is obviously hugely important to Jane. It will be addressed, but we can't give away how," according to TV Line.
