In the final episodes of 'The Mentalist' Season 7, fans of this popular police procedural television drama series will be threatened by an impending death.

Christian Today reports that in Season 7 Episode 10 of the show titled "Nothing Gold Can Stay," fans will be witnessing that a key character of 'The Mentalist' will be unable to survive a fatal encounter.

According to the report, the official synopsis of "Nothing Gold Can Stay" released by CBS reads, "Jane takes extreme measures as the team tries to apprehend a deadly gang of armored car robbers before their desperation to remain free costs more innocent people their lives."

In the upcoming episode, viewers will see Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) traumatized during the above mentioned encounter. The gravity of the situation is likely to make Jane consider about his as well as Teresa Lisbon's (Robin Tunney) security while they carry on working for the FBI.
