'The Mentalist' Season 7 Episode 10 Spoilers: 'Black Market' Showcases Long Distance Crime Solving
Fans of 'The Mentalist' can look forward to watching Season 7 Episode 4 entitled "Black Market" when the hit police procedural drama on CBS returns to the small screen on Dec. 21 at 8:30 pm.
According to Christian Today, in Episode 3 of the final season of 'The Mentalist,' fans saw Patrick Jane (portrayed by Simon Baker) and Teresa Lisbon (portrayed by Robin Tunney) traveling to Beirut in pursuit of Erica Flynn (portrayed by guest star Morena Baccarin) to nab her terrorist boyfriend in return for her protection. Viewers saw Jane nearly drowning when her lover tried to become a messenger of the alleged terrorist group.
In the meantime, Erica made another attempt to escape following the capture of the terrorist, but thanks to some prompt action by Jane and Lisbon, she stopped her from fleeing again. Subsequently, the two lovers were back in the U.S.
In the next episode, "Black Market," Jane will be seen resolving a case from a far after she develops an ailment. Although he is down physically, mentally he his very alert and continues to work on the case.
'The Mentalist' Season 7 Episode 4's official synopsis released by The CW reads, "The team investigates a murder linked to a counterfeit diamond operation, but an illness forces Jane to direct his colleagues from the office as he recuperates. Meanwhile, Abbott is concerned that transgressions in his past could harm his wife's chance to obtain a prestigious job in Washington, D.C."
Fans of the show are wondering if this is an indication that the FBI leader Abbot (Rockmond Dunbar) is planning to quit his post in the Austin office so that he can be with his wife in D.C.
'The Mentalist' Season 7 Episode 4 will feature a number of guest stars, including Christine Adams (Lena), William Abadirq (Jacques), Nicole Shaloube (Lupe), Will Green (Kirk), Devon Barned (Wren), Courtney James Clark (Dixie), Leonard Roberts (Elon), and Jeff Branson (Walker).
