'The Man In The High Castle' Season 2 Spoilers: Alternative History Series Continues With Joe Blake, Frank Frink, Juliana Crane
It seems like fans are getting to see more of characters like Joe Blake, Frank Frink, and Juliana Crane, as the alternative history television series "The Man in the High Castle" has been renewed by Amazon for a second season.
In his interview with Den of Geek, "The Man in the High Castle" creator and executive producer Frank Sponitz said that he thought that his biggest difficulty had been at the very beginning, recognizing that he would have had to add characters and plot that had not been in the novel in order to turn it into a television series.
According to Sponitz, his fear had been that he could not have done his work without doing damage to the narrative, so he had tried very hard to do it in a way that had been respectful to the novel and just kind of had given more space to the themes and ideas that he had established.
"The Man in the High Castle" is based on the novel of the same name, authored by American writer Philip K. Dick. Set in 1962, the storyline presents a twist in time, an alternative conclusion to the World War II, in which the war transpired until 1947.
The story also showcases controversy as to the superiority of the Axis Powers - Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan - over the former United States.
Sponitz's "The Man in the High Castle" stars Luke Kleintank as Blake, Ruper Evans as Frink, and Alexa Davalos as Juliana Crain. The series also stars DJ Qualls, Joel de la Fuente, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Rufus Sewell, and Arnold Chun, among others.
With Sponitz at the helm of the series, Ridley Scott and Isa Dick Hackett will be working with him in the forthcoming season 2, which is set to have ten episodes, as per Christian Post.
The release date for "The Man in the High Castle" season 2 is yet to be revealed.
