'The Lego Batman' 2017 Movie Trailer Goes Viral; More Than Three Million Views
The "Lego Batman" movie trailer finally arrives and everyone looks so thrilled about it. The Batcave teaser debuted online on March 24, Thursday and became viral.
The 2-minute and 16-second film trailer was released on Youtube, along with its description. So far, the clip has more than 3 million views and filled with mixed comments.
"In the irreverent spirit of fun that made "The LEGO Movie" a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble - LEGO Batman - stars in his own big-screen adventure," reads the description.
"But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker's hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up."
The upcoming film is the sequel of 2014's "The Lego Movie," notes Wired. According to the website, the much-awaited "blockbuster to be" is directed by Chris Mckay. On the other hand, IMDb lists Seth Grahame-Smith as the writer.
The movie is executively produced by Ryan Harris, Zareh Nalbandian and Will Allegra with co-producers Ryan Halprin, Roy Lee, Dan Lin, Phil Lord, and Christopher Miller.
The film also features Will Arnett as Batman/ Bruce Wayne, Michael Cera as Robin, Zach Galifianakis as the Joker, and Rosario Dawson as Batgirl. Other actors include Ralph Fiennes plays as Alfred Pennyworth, and singer Mariah Carey as Mayor Marion Grange.
