‘The Last of Us: Remastered’ New DLC Bundles: PS4 Multiplayer Add-Ons Introduced
Naughty Dog Software announced that they are planning to release a new 'Remastered' DLC, also known as downloadable content, for their game 'The Last of Us' this week, which will have everything from new gestures, headgear, and more, all thanks to multiplayer add-ons.
'The Last of Us: Remastered' is boasting new weapons, masks, and survival skills for players, but they come at a price.
For $1, gamers can avail of a Special Executions bundle that is reportedly very lethal and visceral and applicable to nine weapon categories. For $3, gamers can have a Tactical Weapons bundle which comes with new weapons, such as a crossbow, frontier rifle, tactical shotgun and burst pistol.
For $4, gamers can have the Risk Management Survival Skills bundle which comes with a Second Chance, a free health kit that halves the damage and prolongs the player's life. It will also give their characters a new set of Survival Skills.
Some of these Survival Skills include the Lone Wolf, which prolongs the player's survival skills when away from the team; the Lucky Break, which helps players get more ammo and craft ingredients from their supply box; and the Lethal Efficiency, which allows players to perform a faster neck snaps when dealing with enemies.
For $7, gamers can have the Misfit Head Item bundle that outfits them with a whole new set of headgears. They can choose between a smiley mask, Viking hat, ski goggles, outlaw mask, urban camo helmet and more.
For $2.5 each, the can avail the Gesture Pack 2 or Gesture Pack 3, which comes with new Gestures such as Dust Myself Off, You're Done, Evil Laugh, Intimidation, Combat Formation and more.
Some of these additions are exclusive to the PlayStation 4 though, as Naughty Dog claimed that there are "memory constraints" when it comes to the PlayStation 3.
This was explained by Naughty Dog's Eric Monacelli, a community strategist, saying, "It seems with our latest add-ons we're squeezing every last ounce of memory the PS3 had to run our Factions mode."
