'The Last of Us 2' Release Date, Plot News: Ellie to Play Main Role In Sequel; Where Will Joel be?
One of the best zombie apocalypse games ever made will be making its sequel after all! "The Last of Us" recently announced that they will be making a "part II" and here's what we know so far about its plot and development.
According to Christian Times, Naughty Dog's "The Last of Us 2" is still under creative planning process. As of now, the developer's main priority is to market and to successfully release it's upcoming "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" game. The developer hasn't made any public release about the game but there have been a lot of rumors and speculations roaming around the net already.
Japanese legend in the tech industry, Shu Yoshida, said that even after the release date of the game, there have already been talks about the game's possible sequel.
"We haven't confirmed 'The Last of Us 2,' but ever since the launch of the first game, people like Neil [Druckmann, creative director] are talking about some ideas for a potential sequel, some experiments that they want to do. It's just talks around development," Yoshida stated (via EuroGamer)
According to Bitbag, Ellie might be the main character in the sequel. Where will Joel be? With the game being under-planning, who knows what could happen and how many years will it be after the ending of the first story.
The Last of Us is an action and adventure zombie apocalypse survival horror video game, developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony. The game was released on June 14, 2013 and since then has won multiple awards including 240 Game of The Year awards from different review aggregators.
