The Last of Us 2 News, Release Date: No Show During E3 2016 Event?
Unfortunately, "The Last of Us 2" won't be present at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016 since Naughty Dog would be focusing on "God of War 4." This might be a set back for the game in terms of marketing strategy.
According to Christian Today, game director Neil Druckmann previously said that there is only a 50 percent chance that "The Last of Us 2" will be featured in the expo since Naughty Dog still has a lot up its sleeves. The sequel to the former game of the year was one of the biggest talks before the E3 started.
Naughty Dog may have point there however. Since the launch of a possible "The Last of Us 2" would be pretty far from today, it would not make sense if they focus on it rather than the "Uncharted 4" which is ready to come out in stores. It's good that people are still talking about a possible sequel but it might take a while before Naughty Dog starts to hype it up even more.
Also, according to Day Herald, the plot, characters and story line of "The Last of Us 2" remains uncertain. This is still acceptable for now since it's just in the planning process. There might be a lot of tweaks and revision still waiting to happen to the game as the developers continue to talk it over.
"The Last of Us" is an action and adventure post zombie apocalypse survival video game developed by Naughty Dog. The game was published by Sony Computer Entertainment.
