The Katinas Release Cover of Matt Redman's '10,000 Reasons' to Radio as First Single for 'Sunday Set' [VIDEO]

The Katinas

Longtime CCM group The Katinas released their Matt Redman cover, "10,000 Reasons," as the first single from their new album.

The Grammy Award-winning song by Redman gets the signature Katinas treatment with harmonies and new arrangements on album Sunday Set, which was released in November. The single was added to 134 radio outlets, and will be playing on Soft AC, AC, Praise & Worship and Gospel-formatted Christian radio stations.

"With the release of '10,000 Reasons,' we are humbled to bring our arrangement of this classic song to our fans and to Christian radio," said James Katina in a press release. "Our prayer is that others who hear the song will be filled with awe at the majesty of our Lord."

The Katinas have been touring non-stop since the release of Sunday Set, including the Katina & Kuzins Cruise to the Bahamas in mid-January. Future dates see the group visiting Alabama, Texas, California, Hawaii, Tennessee, Ohio, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Maryland. For a complete tour schedule, visit thekatinas.com/tour. A video for "10,000 Reasons" is available at YouTube.

Sunday Set also features signature arrangements of 10 popular worship songs, and is available on iTunes (digital) and thekatinas.com (physical CDs).

"We are excited to release a collection of some of our favorite worship songs," said John Katina. "With Sunday Set, we want to honor modern day psalmists who have given the church-at-large great anthems in which to honor our Lord. And though these songs are primarily performed in a corporate worship setting, we believe that worship is a lifestyle. When you live a life that honors God and His Word, then you are a worshipper! Sunday Set is a tribute to a worship-filled life."
