'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2' Spoilers, New Trailer News: Capital Destroyed in Latest [VIDEO]
On June 9th, after fans had been repeatedly teased by cast members Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson with the cryptic date 6/9, the first trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 has been finally released.
The film will be released on November 20th, is the last one in the franchise, and based on the trailer, it may be the most exciting film so far.
At the start of the trailer, Katniss is seen saying, "Nothing good is safe while Snow's alive. And I can't make another speech about it. Snow has to pay for what he's done."
Katniss appears as though she is serious about what she is saying, and will stop at nothing to make Emperor Snow pay for his crimes.
"We all have one enemy," she screams at the top of her lungs. "He corrupts everyone and everything!"
While fans are happy to have finally gotten a look at the newest Hunger Games installment's trailers, they had a long torturous time for dealing with teasers for the film for months now.
First there were the serious and disturbing, though not revealing at all, of Katniss and Primrose. The photograph was lovely but left fans wanting so much more.
Next, Lawrence posted a photograph of herself with Gale, Messalla and Finnick. The picture was exciting, and still left fans hungry for more.
Finally, one of the film's producers posted a photograph on June 5th from the filming of the especially important epilogue scene.
Fans could barely make out the silhouettes of Katniss and Peeta. Fans certainly believe that they have earned this trailer.
