The Hoppers Release 'Life Is Good' - First Album in Four Years
The Hoppers, "America's First Family of Gospel Music" known for their incredible harmonies and soaring vocals, are releasing their first album in four years today, Life is Good. The album features songs which reflect the group's journey through health issues of the two patriarchs over the last few years, the legendary stage man Claude Hopper and multi-award-winning vocalist, Connie Hopper. Both are doing well now and shine on the new release.
The buzz on the album arrived early when the first single from the album, "Jesus, The One" hit the #1 position on the Singing News national radio chart and received nominations for Song of the Year at the Singing News Fan Awards and a Dove Award nomination in the Southern Gospel Recorded Song of the Year category. In addition, both Kim Hopper and Connie Hopper were awarded for their vocal excellence at the 2016 Singing News Fan Awards.
This is the first release by the Hoppers since signing with Daywind Records in 2015. "We have long been fans of the Hoppers and the energy they create on stage," commented Daywind president, Ed Leonard. "We are honored to have them represent Daywind Records and look forward to doing great things together."
The second single, "If We Ever Gotta Look," has been released to radio and looks like another winner for the group. The Hoppers will tour the album nationally and Daywind will promote the album heavily on social media, television appearances and other means.
Life is Good is available in physical CD at Christian retail stores everywhere and digitally at iTunes and other outlets on September 30th.
