'The Hobbit 3' Movie Release Date News: 'The Battle of the Five Armies' Music Track 'The Last Goodbye' Releases
'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies', the last movie in 'The Hobbit' trilogy, will be released in theaters this month. This news has given rise to mixed feelings among the fans, as some are happy that they be able to enjoy their favorite film series, and some are sad that the trilogy is coming to an end.
In all probability, 'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies', will be the last movie of the current franchise by Peter Jackson, which is based on the adaptation of J. R. R Tolkien's novels.
Sensing this, Billy Boyd, who portrayed the character of Pippin in the 'Lord of The Rings' trilogy, penned a special lyric for this movie. The song titled "The Last Goodbye" is very apt, reports the Christian Today.
In fact, the music video for "The Last Goodbye" has already been released and it is certainly very emotional. Basically, the song is a montage of all things that happened in the 'Lord of The Rings' trilogy as well as 'The Hobbit' trilogy. The video also includes some interesting behind-the-scenes footage.
The website reports that "The Last Goodbye" is not the first music that Boyd has composed for this film series. Earlier, he wrote the song and also sang "The Edge of Night" for 'The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King', a film adapted from Tolkien's poem "A Walking Song."
However, there seems to be one common thing in all the music Boyd has created so far - all of the tracks have a distressing solemn tune that possess the ability to melt the toughest of hearts. For instance, Boyd composed "The Edge of Night," which was used in the trailer of 'The Battle of Five Armies'.
'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' will hit theaters on Dec. 17.
