'The Grand Tour' Premiere News: Two Crash Scenes Planted To Signal Launch Of The New Amazon Prime Series

Creators of "The Grand Tour" planted two crash scenes this morning in two separate locations, giving commuters a major shock.

According to reports, one of the crash scenes featured the remains of an abandoned Toyota Pruis, with the giveaway plate number of "M4Y." The car was positioned against a post box in London's Kings Cross.

The other crash scene also featured a damaged Prius with the number plate "H4MMOND," and was spotted bulging out of the ground somewhere in Hackescher Marktin, Berlin.

Both crash scenes were reportedly meant to signal the launch of "The Grand Tour," the new Amazon Prime series featuring former Top Gear hosts Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond.

Some speculated that following the two stunts this morning, a third stunt was coming later, featuring Clarkson. He, Hammond and May have been going around the world for the filming of the first season of "The Grand Tour."

Current filming locations include Johannesburg, California, Whitby, Rotterdam, Lapland and Stuggart, while Nashville, Loch Ness and Dubai are next on their itinerary.

In his interview with Daily Telegraph, Hammond said that the upcoming show will surely not disappoint fans. "We're not going to disappoint, because we can't. We've got to make this good or they will come and torch us--and rightly so," he said.

"The Grand Tour" premiered on Amazon Prime Video on Nov. 18. Recent reports suggest that since the new show requires a Prime subscription to watch, Amazon has sweetened the deal by cutting the price of its annual subscription by £20.
