'The Good Wife' Season 7 Spoilers, News: Josh Charles To Reprise Role As Will Gardner, Alicia's Ex-Lover
"The Good Wife" season 7 is just a few episodes away from its finale, but there still are a lot of stories left to tell.
In the previous episode, Alicia finally decided on Peter's request to put off their divorce until after his trial. Instead of agreeing with Peter, she publicly declared that she will push through with the process so she could start anew with Jason Crouse, her new investigator.
This "new life" away from all the dramas of her past with Peter and his trial begins in episode 20, titled "Party."
"Party" follows Alicia as she organizes and hosts a wedding party for Howard and her former mother-in-law, Jackie. However, it looks like things will not turn out the way she wants them to.
"Alicia's night is going to go from bad to worse when she throws a party to celebrate Howard and Jackie's upcoming wedding. Also, Eli will end up asking Jason to investigate Peter in preparation for his trial," the synopsis for the episode reads.
The end of the previous episode suggests that some huge surprises are coming up in the next episode, and that Alicia's decision to not postpone the divorce won't be any better for her.
In other news, there are reports that actor Josh Charles will reprise his role as Will Gardner, Alicia's ex-lover. The actor previously said in one of his interviews that he would love to return to the series, saying, "That's my family over there."
"The Good Wife" season 7, episode 20 airs on April 24 on CBS.
