Big storylines are coming up in the next season of "The Fosters." This was revealed by "The Fosters" season 4 co-creator himself, Peter Paige.

On Saturday, "The Fosters" Twitter page posted a short video of Peter Paige giving some teasers about the upcoming season. He did not only mention that season 4 would be the "best" season yet; he also said that the premiere of the series would be "out of control."

In the video clip, Paige teases that an array of explosive storylines are coming up next season, and one of those would be that of Brandon and Callie after their secret sexual escapade was spilled in the previous season. There is also the storyline of Jude, which involves the question of his real sexuality. In season 5, the issue arose after his failed relationship with Connor and his shocking kissing encounters with Jack and Taylor.

Meanwhile, in an interview with TV Line, actress Maia Mitchell talked about the death of Jack and how it is going to impact the family.

"Jude begins a spiritual journey a little bit and considers what happens after death. He is much more reflective and internally sad, whereas Callie is gung-ho about it," she said.

She also added that in season 4, moms will be curious about how Pearson gets another kid and will eventually realize it is through privatization.

"So their main concern is for Callie and what she's endorsing and that she really understands the full weight of what she's publicly reforming," she said.

A recent Twitter post by executive producer Bradley Bredeweg confirmed that "The Fosters" season 4 is going to premiere on June 20 on Freeform.
