'The Flash' Spoilers, Cast News: Mark Hamill Makes Comeback as The Trickster

With 'The Flash' on a short hiatus, CW has released a new promo detailing all the new villains set to appear toward the end of the season, including The Trickster who will be reprised by actor Mark Hamill.

Hamill played the same character on the 1990s 'Flash' television series, so it should excite new and old fans of the character to see the actor return into his role.

Hamill's role in the new interpretation will be an ex-villain serving a life sentence in Iron Heights. He'll guest star opposite to the copycat Trickster, played by Devon Graye. Hamill's Trickster teams up with the detectives to bring down the copycat.

A synopsis for the next episode premiering March 17th has been released, however the Trickster will star in a later episode. The episode is titled "Out of Time" and the synopsis reads:

"Mark Mardon aka The Weather Wizard (guest star Liam McIntyre) appears in Central City intent on avenging his brother Clyde's death, and sets his sights on Joe, who shot Clyde. When Mardon attacks Joe and Barry, Barry is able to super-speed them to safety but Mardon gets away. Barry warns Joe not to go after a meta-human alone but Joe doesn't listen and ends up in grave danger. Meanwhile, Cisco looks into the night the team captured the Reverse Flash and realizes something doesn't add up and begins to wonder whether Joe was right about Dr. Wells. Barry and Linda (guest star Malese Jow) end up on an awkward double date with Eddie and Iris."
