'The Flash' Season 3 News: Will Violett Beane Finally Transform Into Jesse Quick?

Violett Beane might return for "The Flash" season 3 as speedster Jesse Quick.

Ever since the actress joined the cast of the series, fans have waited for her transformation into the popular speedster. However, much of season 2 saw her held captive in Earth-2, stuck in Earth-1, or in a coma. While her return for season 3 was confirmed recently, it remains unknown what role she will play and whether she would finally become Jesse Quick.

"I know I'll be back, but I don't know if it's with or without powers," the actress said, according to ScreenRant.

Despite lack of details, there are speculations that the fans will finally see Beane as Jesse Quick. Speculations came after Twitter user Canadegrapphs claimed having met the actress during filming for season 3 of "The Flash" and seeing her in costume. The Twitter user, however, did not post a photo of Beane.

"Got an autograph tonight from #TheFlash star Violett Beane on set. Spoiler alert... Jessie Quick was in costume. Sorry, no pics today," reads the Tweet.

When other Twitter users asked for more details on the post, Canadegraphs said he or she had not read the "Flash" comics and could not comment on how closely Beane resembled the original speedster. However, Canadegraphs claimed that Beane was not wearing a blonde wig but was wearing matching red pants with Grant Gustin's Barry Allen.

While the latest promo for season 3 makes no mention of Jesse Quick, Candegraphs' tweet suggests that Beane will indeed costume up as the speedster at some point during the upcoming season.

"The Flash" season 3 premieres on Oct. 4, 8:00 p.m. on The CW.
